Gunning Fireworks have been operating every year for over 10 years. In 2010 the event was moved to the Gunning Showground and a fantastic public festival was born. The event is managed by Fireworks Australia who are based in the region. The 2012 Gunning Fireworks Festival will offer you one of the largest fireworks display finales outside of Sydney. There will also be over one hour of fireworks where they are ignited on a one by one basis to demonstrate the effects to the pyrotechnicians who come from all over Australia and New Zealand.
In addition to the fireworks, this years event will also offer market stalls, music, a reptile exhibition, face painting and children's activities, clowns, competitions, a variety of food and much more.
A donation from the net profit will be made to the Gunning District Community Health Service - a non government organisation which provides clinical and home support services to the community of the former Gunning Shire.
